Recent Recognition and Awards

Year after year, we earn recognition from national quality organizations, but it is the satisfaction of our patients, residents, and families that truly means the most to us. Some of the recent accolades we have received include:

  • The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval™ accreditation
  • 2014 – My InnerView survey “Excellence in Action” award for Customer Satisfaction
  • 2012 – Silver – Achievement in Quality National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL)

Committed to Excellence

Windsor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center received National Research Corporation’s 2013-2014 “Excellence in Action” award for Customer Satisfaction, the fourth such award in five years. This ranked Windsor among the top 10 percent nationally with respect to how highly residents and family members would recommend to others and employees would recommend as a place to work.

National Quality Award

American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) Quality Awards – 2012 Silver – Achievement in Quality

Windsor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was one of only five centers in Massachusetts to earn a 2012 Silver Award. Only 30 facilities nationwide achieved this distinction in 2012.

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award is a progressive three-step process that encourages continuous learning and development of integrated quality systems to achieve performance excellence. Each progressive step requires a more detailed and comprehensive demonstration of quality integration and performance. The criteria for each step is based on the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program’s core values and concepts.

Silver – Achievement in Quality: Applicants who receive the Silver award provide an extensive assessment of their systematic approaches, performance measures, and sustainable organizational and process results that are linked to the key customer requirements, success factors, and challenges they identified in previously earning the Bronze – Commitment to Quality award.
